How Do I Find the Designer of a Dress or Item I Saw on the Web?
You’re searching the web and find a photo of a dress, veil, sash or piece of jewelry that you are quite simply obsessed with. But when you click through, you can’t figure out where to purchase it. There’s no designer credit.
It’s actually quite easy to do a reverse image search which allows you find out where a particular image appears on the web.
- Google Image Search: Drag the image into the search bar, paste the URL or upload it from your computer and Google will tell you about all the content on the web related to that image.
- Tin Eye: Another option is Tin Eye that allows you to do the same thing (sometimes with different results than google)
- Download the Chrome extension or the Firefox extension: All you have to do is right click on the image and Google will do the search for you
And there you have it – all the web’s images at your fingertips!
