We connected with Mandy Liento, expert hair stylist and owner of La Sorella Bridal Salon who shared her tips on getting the perfect bridal hair.  From the classic updo to the sleek and sexy straight hair, Mandy’s styles and tips are a must-read.   And what’s perfect hair without a complementary accessory? Idojour shares our top accessory pick for each style.

The Bun

You can take a simple bun and place it on the side of your head for a vintage look.  Pair the look with a birdcage veil and some dangly earrings.

That same type of bun can be used in an Audrey Hepburn/Breakfast at Tiffany’s knockoff.  The bun sits high on the head for a sophisticated look. If you love the idea of a sleek bun but don’t think you have enough hair to pull this look together, glam up the look with clip-on extensions.  More hair will give the look much more drama.

Straight Hair

Some brides have the most beautiful straight hair. From my experience, a good rule of thumb is if you love your hair straight than lets work with what you have.  Starting off with the correct blow-dry is essential, then adding correct volumizing mousse for volume.  Sometimes rolling in the ends ever so lightly with a large barrel curling iron can take such a simple look to extraordinary

Wavy Hair

Curls are very in-style and have been for many years.  90% of brides today see themselves feeling more comfortable while wearing their hair either all down or mostly down.   Is this a trend?   It sure is.  The wonderful things about these styles are that they are loose and extremely sexy. They feel more recognized especially if they have never worn their hair up before.  To get even longer and thicker hair I recommend adding in some clip-on extensions to make the look even more Hollywood.

Unique Style

Sometimes getting creative sets you a part from what all the other brides out there are doing, which makes unique styles extra extraordinary.  Most brides will not want to take the risk of trying something new and exciting on their wedding day. This type of bride wants to make her mark and is ready to outshine other brides..
