Ideas for Mix & Match Bridesmaids Dresses
Inspiration can come from anywhere – we just have to be aware of what’s around us in order to be inspired. When it comes to bridesmaids, there are a wealth of options to work with and we love the idea of mix and match bridesmaids dresses – where each girl wears a style and a color that fits their body types and personalities, but that all come together to form a cohesive color palette.
Today we’re creating three unique bridesmaids looks, each inspired by a different photo that we love.
The Inspiration: The deep shades of blue of the ocean have always been enchanting and if you ever have the fortune to visit the Mediterranean, you will know that the pictures are not an exaggeration of its beauty. This photo of the rich hues of the ocean create a stunning palette of depth, sophistication, and elegance.

DUNE TREE
The Inspiration: This photo of a bare tree in the Dunes of Lake Michigan has a dreamy, water-color like quality to it that we immediately fell in love with. The contrasting colors make for a beautifully elegant and simple palette of browns, beiges and creams.
Pair the outfits with chunky gold jewelry, a fabulous pair of heels and bouquets of deep red, orange and cranberry for a bold and warm look, or pale pink and whites if you want a romantic feel.

PINK CADILLAC
The Inspiration: The classic pink Cadillac one of the most iconic and stylish cars. You can’t help but notice the gorgeous pink body color, the white roof, the sleek chrome detail, and the black tires. This image inspired us to show how to subtly and tastefully incorporate pink into your bridesmaids without it being a “pink overload.”
We love the idea of contrasting colors and dressing your girls in pale pinks, whites, greys, and even black. Offer them bouquets of different shades of pink, and accessorize their wedding day look with strands of pearls!
